Elementary Beginner
Sunday, 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Basic level of Mandarin with focus on speaking, word recognition, and reading. Also introduce students to the Traditional Chinese Phonograms so students can learn to pronounce Chinese like a native.
Our beginner class covers conversational texts, vocabulary lists, sentence pattern exercises, nursery rhymes, and games. Phonetic symbols are used, including Zhuyin and Pinyin, along with simplified Chinese characters. Our lessons focus on everyday conversations, encompassing communication, culture, connection, comparison, and community. Suitable for elementary through middle school students, they effectively enhance learners' listening, speaking, reading, writing, and cross-cultural Chinese language skills in daily life.
